There was a bit of melancholy and heaviness in your voice ... and the sound of tenderness. I typically read your poems in a fiesty and sassy way (particularly those that involve a cauldron), thinking the "speaker" has cut out her own heart, pureed it, and used it as ink to write poems. But there is so much heart in your voice (and words) that you drew my tears, and I try very hard to never let that happen.✿https://www.blogger.com/profile/01044032159371976375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3107838361391025851.post-60566698546329671542012-06-08T22:20:34.459-04:002012-06-08T22:20:34.459-04:00O, one of my favorites of yours, with the little w...O, one of my favorites of yours, with the little white fingers and the image in the well polished floor--you sound divine, too. Fun to listen to this in your voice, which makes it a bit more cerebral and smoky, I think--though this poem could be recited by a robot and probably still kick ass. No, that's not exactly correct. I enjoy hearing an INTERESTING piece read aloud.
