ReplyDeleteSunra, I was trying to get home from an absolutely disastrous visit to London. My flight was delayed, as was my connection in the US, and when I finally got home in a cab at about 2am, the cab couldn't get up my street because there had been a snowstorm, so I had to walk, with my bags. I have never flown since.

ReplyDeleteCutting edge sarcasm, bang on message, and rocked the socks off the prompt. Damn, I remember when flying was fun. People met you at the gate. They served meals in coach.
ReplyDeleteI was at Gatwick once and the drive from Gatwick to Heathrow was so scenic. But after reading this I don't think I would like to go there to have my soul sucked!
