  1. OMG, this reminds me of when I was 27, loooooong hair down my back and this - WOMAN - started HACKING IT OFF LIKE BOY'S HAIR, and she started up on TOP so then she had to continue. I was nearly passing out in the chair and told her STOP! and she said "Well you CAME in here for a HAIRCUT! and I cant leave it like THIS!" A woman who was waiting actually left the shop, she was so horrified. It was brutal and took forever to grow it back. And I didnt get mad at her and actually paid her. Oh. My. God.

  4. I hate those HighToned Foo-Foo Girls at the salons--they all have that smug-bitch attitude, and none of them have an ounce of creativity in their entire body. But I would NEVER have the ovaries to ask for my tip back--I rolled when she said Fuck You with a question mark! followed by I hope you guys aren't mad at me. If I ever did go off, I don't think I would be apologetic, but usually I just go home and brood.

  5. Too wild. My hairdresser (psychiatrist) of 15 years retired 2 years ago and I'm still devastated. I hack at my own hair now or let it grow. xo

  7. that would have been SO me, but I don't really consort with the humans much in person except in broad, slow, easy to understand gestures and few words. Better that way. Where I might have been tough in the past, now I just enjoy the ability to walk away without guilt or regret. . . . .

  8. Yeah, I admired her ballsy attitude, even if it was spewed out in hesitant spurts.

    Thanks for the smile...

  10. This one made me really laugh. I enjoyed her assertive, but hesitant approach:~)

I can really assertive about many things, but oddly not about my hair. This means my hair has had some strange haircuts. Never say to a hairdresser, "Do what you think will be best." BIG MISTAKE.

Thanks for the laugh on a Friday!
