I had never heard this song ... how beautiful. As I listened I kept remembering how I felt as I raised my children .. how I worried for them, for their futures. How I still worry at times.
Shay, just finished a visit with my "baby," who is 22 and struggling a bit in So Cal. This song gave me permission for a good long cry. Thank you for your innate timing. Blessings to you - Amy http://sharplittlepencil.wordpress.com/2011/06/16/780/

Thanks for this Shay. "To the cradle comes a rose..." a lullabye for the child lost and going it the only way she's ever known.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and moving, Shay.

ReplyDeleteRemember with FTW was a short for "F*** The World" before the advent of the internet, which reduced it to mean "For The Win"?
Sorry, somehow got off on a tangent there...
I love that, too. Beautiful.
