I always did love those glass Coke bottles. Before meeting my husband, I had guys come into my life whose smiles promised something sweet but what they delivered was something else entirely. I'm one of the members of Team Netherworld. Lily wanted me to let you know that it's absolutely fine for you to use the Flash 55 badge she created and displayed on her poem about her father on Poetry of the Netherworld. I think your admiration of the badge really made her happy. She's had kind of a rough few days.
A week without Internet connection and the world is upside down - you're writing short! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI really like the mood of this piece. :)
I end with a kiss. <3
Short and (dirty)sweet as your tag. Nothing like one of those glass-bottle cokes when one is killingly thirsty.
ReplyDeleteAnd even in the labels, a little "Bang a Gong" brings back musical memories.
ReplyDeleteYour perfectly-captured comparison was sweet, satisfying and biting--all at the same time.
A laugh-out-loud comparison, followed by the sigh of memory. Yes.
ReplyDeleteThe sugar and the bite!!

ReplyDeleteYes, love this dirty sweet piece, short and sensual :)
ReplyDeleteSmiles ~~ but make mine Pepsi please.
ReplyDeleteSome sweetness is bad for us, but, often, irresistable.
