Poetry and such like.
A week without Internet connection and the world is upside down - you're writing short! ^_^ I really like the mood of this piece. :)I end with a kiss. <3
Short and (dirty)sweet as your tag. Nothing like one of those glass-bottle cokes when one is killingly thirsty.
And even in the labels, a little "Bang a Gong" brings back musical memories.Your perfectly-captured comparison was sweet, satisfying and biting--all at the same time.
A laugh-out-loud comparison, followed by the sigh of memory. Yes.
The sugar and the bite!!
I always did love those glass Coke bottles. Before meeting my husband, I had guys come into my life whose smiles promised something sweet but what they delivered was something else entirely.I'm one of the members of Team Netherworld. Lily wanted me to let you know that it's absolutely fine for you to use the Flash 55 badge she created and displayed on her poem about her father on Poetry of the Netherworld. I think your admiration of the badge really made her happy. She's had kind of a rough few days.
That ahh.. so full of those bubbles rising from a newly opened coke bottle (usually too sweet for me though)
Yes, love this dirty sweet piece, short and sensual :)
Smiles ~~ but make mine Pepsi please.
Some sweetness is bad for us, but, often, irresistable.
Her lips, the sugar and the bite. Killer line.
oh those small oldtimey cokes in bottles had SUCH bite!ALOHA from HonoluluComfortSpiral =^..^=
really enjoyed this little read. i have a penchant for old bottles...but the poem reminded me of these desperately hot summer days. stacy lynn marhttp://warningthestars.blogspot.com/
Smiling at the sweetness and the bite.
with these words, anyone will convert...
What more does anyone need other than a Coke and a Smile?
Can it be a cap off a beer bottle instead? :D
Love that aaaah at the end!
ahhhh, the bite.--you bite w/ words. x
