Sometimes the berry just goes to the one who deserves it. I love this.(and the song)
So much sturm and drang from a simple cool sweet strawberry! You are one cool cucumber, Miss Shay-ALOHA from HonoluluComfortSpiral =^..^= <3
Sometimes things aren't meant to be shared! ;D This could read bittersweet-but I think it is rather delicious. We have to be selfish once in awhile!
Ate my damn plums, too, didn't you?
Too few things go our way. And yes to Joplin, too.
laughing at mama zen. :)
Thank you, Shay. It was my sad day when Janis J. died. I loved her and her songs, I still do. Those were the days, a band and group, it seemed, were under nearly every tree in most of the Houston parks. I would ride my motorcycle from tree to tree.ZZ Top got their start that way too. Those days went bye bye also, we all got married I guess...
Laughing at Mama Zen, too......loved this.
Nothing wrong with each one taking care of herself.
What a great twist on a classic...And a serving of Janis Joplin is ALWAYS delightful.
haha plums. when is a strawberry not so sweet?
Every now and then, it's not that a person doesn't deserve the last bite... it's just that they no longer inspire the want that reminds us that one day they did. Then again, maybe it's as simple as the fruit being too damn good to share. This is deliciously fresh. ♥
I'm not about to share the last strawberry either.
Now I have craving for strawberries and yogurt:~)
WELL! I ate a fresh dark red cherry ... never considered sharing! Big smile.
Blueberries… don't even THINK about it. and the last line is so funny. And I would hazard a guess there is "no guilt" :)
I wouldn't share either. Love this. :)
