Allegro
8 stairs To my door-- You said, 8 minutes, baby, Not one more. 8 long kisses, Fix your lips, and then-- 8 letters in "I love you", Then you're gone again.
Very nice! I love the line, "eight letters in I love you." X
PS- I never thought about Spring being madness. Like a madness of growth and bursting. Hmmm... might have to include that in some writing somewhere. :)
Brilliant. This must be what is called "a New York minute". Tells a whole story, with such wit and economy. Fantastic writing! I didnt even try. It takes me a minute to defog my glasses, and defogging my brain is no longer possible. Hee hee.
Dreamy and romantic... love the 8 letters in "I love you"... thanks for participating.
ReplyDelete8 lines, too, along with a nice little rhyme scheme.
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet, Shay.
I love it, Shay. Especially the 'fix your lips'--that adds at least 60 seconds to this quickie. ;_) Very creative and sharp take on a timed prompt.
