The worst cuts always come from the ones we try to love. A lot of blood under the bridge and life goes on, but some things are just wrong. And I don't mean holding hands.

I swear, it sounds as if you're channeling my emotions.
For the past few weeks I was getting calls from the local playhouse wondering if they could interest me in tickets to the current round of plays. I finally had to ask them to stop calling me. I felt bad for doing this because the lady was always so nice and courteous on the phone. But man, enough already.

ReplyDeleteYou have a superb narrative voice, always, and the use of colloquial language brings your character to life. Any kind of abuse is hard to stomach, but that of narrow-minded or ignorant people always leaves a bitterness on the tongue.
