Pink Boots

I got pink boots.

WASPy god sitting on a cloud picking burrs out of his beard
and wondering why his woman doesn't kiss him.
He's sour, sends gray all day.

Weatherman's on suicide watch,
got the thousand yard stare
out the west window.

But I got pink boots.
Big western hat.
Skinny jeans.
Take that!

    If you looked in my closet, you would be ashamed. Footwear all black and brown … white for summer time. I do have a gold pair of dress shoes and a gold. At the end of summer I bought a teal pair of slip on shoes. I LOVE them. Who knew. I'm on a roll now…

    Congrats on the new book - I will be ordering it and adding it to my bookshelf. I assume that is Kelly's doggie?

    You know, I could go for a pair of pink boots, cowboy style, and a big Western hat. No skinny jeans for me--I'm a man who can be described as fat!
