As investigative officer, I took a look out of my computer room window to get a read on the weather.
As border patrol chief, Bosco peed near the gate to warn off intruders. Snow removal supervisor Fireblossom had cleared his work area previously.
Educational chair Bosco suggests that we spend the day reading. I concur. This concludes the minutes of the meeting of the Planning Board.
Risking charges of workplace impropriety, Fireblossom sent the following memo to Bosco via inter-office mail:
Awestruck here, at the efficiency of the whole governing agency. I know Commander Bosco will keep order at all costs, and his humble but industrious assistant will support him in all things. Man, you got snow! Folks will be talking about the terrible Winter of '14 for a long spell, I'm thinkin. Nurse Chinook advises staying indoors, and prescribes hot cocoa, hot baths, and lots of sloth for everyone. (Well, maybe not for Bosco--he has to maintain his authority..plus, he might not actually much relish a hot bath...)
ReplyDeleteno work for the wicked today?
ReplyDeleteEven Babs would let the staff stay inside on a day like that!
ReplyDeleteFekkin hell! You Northerners really do winter!
ReplyDeleteWe'd be home for a week if we had that snow down here. :)
ReplyDeleteBosco makes a good coworker, I think.
brrr.
ReplyDeleteI have it on good authority ... Emmylou is heading your way! Stay warm. Sit Bosco ... sit!
ReplyDeleteI think we got 12 inches, which you guys call "a dusting."
ReplyDeleteYou need to follow your agenda. Read. Snuggle with Bosco. And drink something warm and tasty...
I so love this. An inter-office memo has never been more fun! Enjoy your snow day! Keep warm!
ReplyDeleteHeh...that's quite the itinerary. If, during the weekend, my "to do" list consists of more than "get up, eat, surf the web", then I know my weekend is ruined. ;-)
ReplyDeletei think Bosco deserves a raise!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, SP!

I'm listening to the video right now with a huge smile on my face!!! Bosco is one very lucky dog:~)
ReplyDeleteI take it you have a "snow day!" We just have a "freezing your face" day and that doesn't excuse anything.
Hey, I noticed you have a new avatar. Saw it at Lynn's site. I like it.
Happy new year, Shay:~)
As much as I don't want to be in my office, I don't want a Snow Day either.
