Kitchen Magic

Leek and potato soup

hot and creamy

Fresh-baked bread

warm and dreamy

The soup seems made

for a blue-and-white bowl--

The bread sighs steam

when broken apart;

Bring them together,

dip one in the other--

Be still, my beating heart!

There is nothing more comforting than home made leek and potato soup served up with fresh, warm crusty bread. I love how your bread "sighs" steam - a perfect description!

Next time I ladle some up, I'll port a bowl over for you as an attachment - grin.

LOL, Marty, a girl has to have some secrets, doesn't she? G*

LOL Jannie, only you would say she od'd on baguette and butter. You're a delight. And so is baguette and butter!

No, Shrinky, it might spill in an attachent. Better bring it to the house! I will watch for the woman being followed by craggy island sheep!

*hand on hip, squinty eyes" Chewy has designs on my bowl of soup, I think! Hi Chewy!

I couldn't agree more, Gillian! When I get home on a snowy winter day, there is nothing more reviving and comforting!

Hi Yaya. Have a bowl!
