Clarity

You won't find clarity

When you're in love.

You won't find clarity

When you're well fed

By the fireside.

Clarity comes

In the moment you realize

That your wheels have left the road.

Clarity comes

When you've taken one step further into wilderness

Than you have the strength to retrace.

Clarity comes

Sheathed in ice, pain, and uncertainty;

At the point of no return,

That's when

Clarity comes.

  1. Clarity is inner strength and heart but you said it so much better than me. Thank you.

  2. This sounds true! I like the photo you can really look into this type of photo, the music made me jump!

  3. I want to dive into that woods and live the pulse of a world hibernating.

But bring my flashlight if it's getting close to dark.

  4. This whole piece is gorgeous, but this stanza (Clarity comes In the moment you realize That your wheels have left the road)is simply breathtaking. One of your best, I think.

  5. And here I thought it came from less pretty stuff. We'll go with your version, Pouty. Nice to see you back again.

LOL sorry about the music, Art & P. Yes, isn't that a neat picture?

Good lord, Holmes, it's Riot Kitty. ;-)

You're like a girl scout, Jannie, always prepared. Or is that the marines? Or maybe the Ladies' Auxiliary? I can never remember. Anyway, out in the woods, that will be me bravely walking right behind you.

Thanks Mama Zen. You're too kind. I'm just a little brown mouse with a pen and paper someone left behind.

  8. And as quickly as clarity comes she hops off to visit someone else, she's a flighty piece clarity, I much prefer verity and her 4x4 with the engine that roars ;)
