Bitter At All Winged Creatures

Bitter at all winged creatures,

I want to board up the sky;

Expunge the ones

Who dare to fly.

Then die.

  4. I'm feeling a bit bitter myself today. I'm hoping some sweet tea will help. Really I just want to fly too.

    Have a great Wednesday.

  14. You are going to love me now that I went to a writing seminar yesterday, now I think I know what I'm talking about. Here goes: You used very few words but picked two words that carry heavy weight, expunge and die, and it packs a much bigger punch than if you had used 10 stanzas with all kinds of clever wording. Absolutely brilliant.
