Hands cannot be made of water,
And yet water holds ships, islands, continents.

Hands cannot be made of fire,
And yet fire has fingers and throws what it has burnt into the air.

Hands are angels sent by whichever evil or fine masters they belong to.
Hands are mute, and yet say what words cannot.

  2. I gotta hand it to you Shay, This is hands down one of my favorite 55's from you!!
I know you have other Friday obligations so don't think that I don't just beam with pride whenever you grace my little writing prompt.
THIS 55 was pensive and PERFECT!
Thanks for joining in the fun, and have a Kick Ass Week-End

  4. Is this only 55 words long? Lordy. What you and Mama Zen can do with just a handful of syllables.

  5. Beautiful metaphors, Shay--I'm reminded of the old one, all flesh is grass...too zonked to leave a very penetrating comment, but I love what you did here, as always.
