I'm just a bashful lady poet,
dainty if I'm anything;
so shy, so proper, so reserved,
composing my delicate renderings.
I never speak above a whisper,
a flower I am, so pale and pure;
modest, that's me, with skirts to my ankles,
fragile, obedient, slight and demure.
Brassy?
Not me.
Try Hedgewitch
or MZ!

...an' it rhymes an' everythin'!
ReplyDeleteHahaha - great pairing of words and pic!
ReplyDeleteIt's those shy introverted types that are the scariest, they say....like Lizzie Borden maybe? Of all the adjectives I think of when I think Fireblossom, shy is *not* one of them--laughin' all the way to the closet to hide from sharp implements and bald-making poems.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly how I would describe you. Yep. Exactly.
ReplyDeleteHa! Girl, you is slaying me!
ReplyDeleteHah! Oh yeah, you are a shy one, most definitely. This was funny on another level for me because we have been fostering a couple of kittens that we have named Bear and Shylo. Shy is the shyest kitten I've ever seen and Bear is a cuddle bear. We may keep both.
ReplyDeleteYou would be PERFECT for the song "Shy" (my daughter at rehearsal): ha! Fiction indeed.
